What I want to do in this gallery is to create a different experience for the visitors. The dimensionality of the gallery has changed, people have to enter the chambers through the bottom of the gallery, the wall is on the ground. What you can see the artwork is a fragment you have to explore the fragment to understand the whole artwork. This is an absolutely different experience about the gallery visiting, what I try to do is to think about the form of gallery and try to find a more positive way for gallery visiting.
Actually when we talk about the experience of light or the lighting conditions we always come up with two concept, brightness and darkness, and we always use brightness and darkness to describe what we experience in a space. But it seems that, we can feel more about the light, the gap between brightness and darkness always ignored by people, and my idea is to make people to experience and realize this gap. More interesting is, people often use the object of reference to judge whether a space is brightness or darkness. For example, when people come out from a darkness space to a semi-bright space, they would consider the semi-bright space as the bright space but when they encounter an actually bright space they would adjust their judgement of the light condition. It is easy to make a confusion for the visitors about this situation. And this is what my museum trying to do

When we go to see an artwork, we really hard to figure out the message the artist want to express, because what they present is the fragment of their story. And in this gallery what I try to do is to represent the reminiscent of the artwork in the gallery. To create the atmosphere for the visitors to have a deeper understanding of the artwork. Just like a film. When they go through the gallery they just like watching a film of the reminiscent of the artwork.
